M.W. Bouwensch, retired engineer. Grew up in Indonesia, got his engineering degree in the Netherlands, is a U.S. citizen, put together a space package which was shot in the air and made measurements.

FAMILY:
* Married 31 years.
* Six nieces and nephews.
* Foster children through Save the Children, Childreach - Navaho, Haiti, Africa, Greece.

CAREER:
Camp nature counselor, conservation activist, helped preserve historic mill in Arlington, MA, volunteer work for a children's mental hospital, gardener for a school for teenage girls in Concord, MA, and volunteer in the garden at the Minuteman National Park, Concord.

LEISURE INTERESTS:
Biking, Concord Chorus, conservation conferences, work weekends for children's camps, wildflower gardening, piano and guitar, cheering on schools and colleges.

REFLECTIONS ON BUCKLEY:
* I'm grateful to Mrs. Dresser, 4th grade teacher, for her kindness to me after my father died.
* I was glad for Mr. Bonnefond's smiles and Mr. Spicer's toughness (it gave us a head start in high school).
* I enjoyed the assemblies. Remember the book of speeches of Abraham Lincoln they gave us?

PLANS AND AMBITIONS FOR NEXT 5 YEARS OR SO:
I need to lose weight, get fit and simplify life.

OTHER:
When I discovered that my slides of our reunion did not come out, I returned to Buckley on Monday morning. The kids look great in their uniforms! It was quiet and orderly and beautiful! I enjoyed my stay with the Grossmans and Hardings! What a super group of people!
